Splash Pads: Kansas City Metro Guide

The official start of Summer is Saturday!! With the start of Summer means hanging out by the pool and running through splash pads! Everyone laughs at me because I call Splash Pads, – Spray Grounds…I mean the ground is spraying out water…..but anyway lol check out our guide to some of our favorite splash pads and a few we can’t wait to explore! I’ve linked maps below so hopefully you can find a splash pad in your area!! Happy exploring! 

Roe Park: One of our all time favorites

Gillham Park: This Spray Ground is fairly new and in the heart of the city! We love Gillham Park!

John Anderson Park: Perfect for families in South KC

Burrus Old Mill Park: Beautiful & Brand New! We cannot wait to explore this giant splash pad this Summer!

Dagg Park: Northland mama's this one is for you!

Miller J Fields Park: Tons of dump buckets and plenty of space to run!

Heathwood Park: small neighborhood splash pad

McCoy Park: Straight shot down 24 HWY and you can't miss this large park!

Well Mama I hope this is a great introduction to all of the splash parks that Kansas City has to offer!! So many neighborhoods have small splash pads tucked away on quiet streets! Explore your neighborhood and see if you come across any! If you are in looking for a splash pad within the City of Kansas City consider: Sunnyside Park, Garrison Park, Loose Park, and Harmony Park, all of these have small splash pads perfect exploring on a hot steamy summer day!
